How does the Aurora SR
rejuvenate my skin?
The Aurora uses gentle light and electric energies to
restore skin to a more youthful state. Brown spots
(pigmented imperfections) from sun damage and aging,
red blotchiness from spider vessels or rosacea
(vascular imperfections) and rough skin texture all
will improve over a series of treatments.
Is treatment with the Aurora SR
safe?
Treatment is very safe for the skin. The many advances
in the Aurora technology make it unparalleled for skin
safety without compromising effectiveness. The light
and radio frequency energies used in the Aurora have
been used successfully for decades in medicine,
surgery and aesthetics without
adversity.
What kind of results can I
expect?
Every Aurora SR treatment will result in gradual
lightening and improvement of pigmented and vascular
imperfections in the skin. Textural improvements are
more noticeable towards the end of the series of
treatments.
How frequently do I need
treatments?
Optimally, treatments are given once a month for five
months.
Does the treatment hurt?
The sensation you'll feel is often described as a hot
pinch or pin prick, which lasts only for a fraction of
a second at a time. The head of the treatment tip is
super-cooled for added comfort. The technician will
talk with you about your comfort level before, during
and after treatment and make adjustments as necessary.
Most people tolerate treatments well.
What happens after each
treatment?
Pinkness in the skin is temporary and lasts for a very
short time. You also may feel warmth or a tingling
sensation for a while afterward. Most people return to
work or other normal activities immediately after
treatment. Improvement in pigmented and/or vascular
irregularities often is noticeable by the time you
return for your next treatment 4-5 weeks later. Brown
spots, however, will appear darker and may start
flaking off before they lighten.
Who should get Aurora SR
treatment?
You should consider having Aurora SR treatments if you
want to improve the signs of sun damage and aging in
the skin, such as pigmented and/or vascular
irregularities, and/or to improve uneven or rough skin
texture, including some acne scarring. Skin
rejuvenation treatments can be done on the face, neck,
chest, hands and arms. We will be happy to discuss
with you what your specific expectations of treatment
should be during your free consultation with our
